Anuradha Pal is a world-renowned, multifaceted Tabla virtuoso, multi-percussionist and Music composer who has been hailed as the first professional female Tabla player in the world by Encyclopedia Britannica, Who‘s Who journal of the World and the Limca Book of Records.
She holds the distinction of being the youngest Indian musician & the only Indian female musician to have performed in two of the BIGGEST Music Festivals in the World - the Woodstock Festival (Europe) for a mammoth audience of 400,000 fans & at WOMAD (U.K.) for 150,000 fans.
She has performed extensively at some of the most prestigious festivals in the World, like Edinburgh International Festival, Rhythm Sticks Festival, Greenwich & Docklands Festival, Bath International Music Festival, Voices of the World, BBC Music Live Festival, Night of the Virtuosos Festival, Masters of Indian Music Festival, amongst numerous others in USA, UK, Europe, Japan, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong & the Far East.
Superbly trained by Tabla legends Late Ustad Alla Rakha & Zakir Hussain, she is the creator of a unique presentation called 'Anuradha Pal in Tabla Jugalbandi with herself'?, accompanist with some of the India's veteran & young classical Musicians & dancers as well as an enthusiastic collaborator with Jazz, African, Latin, Crossover classical, Flamenco, Pop, & rock Musicians in India & abroad.
